The cost of a portrait depends on technique, size and complexity. Alina has experience in many materials, like oils, pastels, watercolours, pencil and acrylics. The prices below are based on one person / animal / subject with a simple background.

Adding a detailed background or extra person / animal costs 10% per item extra. Alina designs a pencil/watercolour sketch first to show you if this meets your expectations. The effect of background colour, adjusted details like posture, removing or adding some points of interests, will become visible to you.
Framing
To conserve a portrait for many generations to come, the artwork needs to be framed. Alina can arrange this for you, but it isn’t an obligation. Keep in mind that the actual ‘end size’ of a portrait will be enlarged when a passepartout is added. With oil portraits the frame will be attached straigh to the panel/canvas. All other paint- and drawmaterials require a mat and glass to prevent the artwork from touching the glass. The actual end size will then be much bigger than the ordered portrait size. The best glass to use is anti-reflective and offers increased UV protection.
DELIVERY TIME & PAYMENT
The delivery time depends on choice of technique, materials, complexity of the portrait and other waiting commissions. Expect at least 2 months for oil portraits, since they are painted in many layers. Other materials are instantly dry on completion and ready to be handed over or shipped to you.
NOTE: Speed-commissions are sometimes possible, if choice of technique allows it.
Payment: Paypal or Bank transfer are possible. A 50% advance is desirable. The remainder is due upon completion prior to shipping. A quote for postal costs will be added on top.
